personal background 
     My name is Tiffany Ou, and my love for designing and creating knows no bounds. For as long as I can remember, nothing makes me giddier than going through the creative process of drawing something out of nothing or percieving a commonplace object or idea in an unprecedented light and translating it into something that is capable of deeply arousing complex human emotions. The process is both rewarding and addicting.
     The first time I dabbled into web designing was in 1999 when I built my first website. Being that I was only a thirteen years old with fairly rough graphic skills and limited knowledge of codes, the site was amateur -- color-coordinated at best. That experience, however, marked the beginning of my love affair with new media. Since then I've grown much as an artist, and that relationship is only getting stronger everyday.
     Professional experience in this field is something I have only started to acquire in the last few years before graduating from University of California, Los Angeles. This is because up till my last year at UCLA, I had seen designing and creating as pastimes instead of a possible career path, and although I'm not sure what exactly clicked in my head, I am positive now that this is the field I want to be in. I hope to get my foot into advertising and marketing soon -- absolutely can't wait to see where it'll take me.

Here you will find a rather eclectic collection of work that I've done over the years -- both professional as well as those for fun.
